Does your child love animals? Looking for a way to get them involved? Well look no further! We offer a junior volunteer program for the animal savvy child in your life. Through our program your child will get hands on experience and be fully immersed in the care and rehabilitation of our rescue animals! 

Children under the age of 16 will need a guardian present during the volunteer hour/s. 

Do you have a group of feral cats living outside of your home? Are you looking for an ethical solution to the reduce the numbers of cats. We work very closely with two TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release) non profits (Cat Action Team & Mad Cats) to be able to offer this service to the members of Greene County Virginia. 

Please be aware that this is a highly sought after service and usually has a waiting list. We are only able to offer this service to members residing in Greene County Virginia. 

We pride ourselves in being a safe space for all. If you have community service hours that need to be completed we always prioritize those needing to complete a certain amount of hours by a set deadline. Animals are not just pets—they are family. Unfortunately, many pet owners face challenges that threaten their ability to keep their beloved animals with them. From financial hardship to housing restrictions, these difficulties can leave both pets and owners feeling desperate. We pride ourselves in aiming to keep pets with their families to prevent loved animals from ending up in rescues. Through this program we offer pet food assistance, pet supply assistance, and connecting families to grants or financial assistant programs available. 

This service is dedicated to those either on government assistance programs or those struggling with immediate unexpected crisis ex. (Natural disaster, job loss, etc).
